Brr...it's that time of year again when Channel Sailing Club members don their winter woollies for a Festive Solent Cruise.
This year we are planning on sailing to the river Hamble. Overnight berthing is planned for Port Hamble Marina followed by dinner at the Victory Pub in Hamble village, a ten minute walk away.
Pre-dinner drinksare traditionally enjoyed on the pontoon under the glo of boats decorated with Xmas fairy lights.
A Christmas Menu at the Victory pub is either £31 for two courses or £37 for three courses. The pub wants a £10 per head deposit up front which hopefully skippers will sort.
Note : On -line registration closes 12th November due to deposits needed to hold the booking.
